[17/10/25] Lower at the open as sentiment takes a hit on concerns about US regional banks. The space closed firmer, albeit off highs, on Thursday amid an increase in supply into the close. NGERIA (+.75) outperformed having lagged week-to-date while fellow oiler ANGOL (+.125) closed just higher; both heavy in early trading as Brent slips towards 60/bbl. ZAMBIN (+.75) also had a strong showing with 2053 notes particularly bid. SENEGL closed flat and trades .625pts down at the open as the IMF sees end-2024 debt at 132% of GDP including SOEs; the finance ministry had previously released the end-2024 figure at 119%, excluding SOEs.
